Our client is a leading global Investment Bank which has a big focus on emerging markets and due to growth within their London office, they are looking to bring in a CASS specialist at VP level. Key responsibilities include: Take on SMCR Certified Function of CASS Operational Oversight; Undertake oversight and governance to ensure compliance with the CASS rules, partnering across the Firm with Operations, IT, Legal, Audit, Risk and Finance; Maintain the Firms CASS governance and control framework including: CMAR, CASS RP, MI, Policies and Procedures, Bank and Custodian Due Diligence, FRC rule maps, integrity of CASS client money/asset reconciliations, registers, terms of business (where applicable) and other client documentation; Liaise with CASS external auditors and take the lead on the annual CASS Compliance audit process; Investigate, escalate and resolve CASS breaches in a timely and efficient manner; Respond to CASS queries from the regulator, auditors and third parties; Perform periodic CASS training; Provide support to the Head of Compliance UK and Global Head of Operations for project work. Expertise required: Relevant CASS experience in a Banking environment Held (or keen to hold) CF10a/CASS Operational Oversight function . Willing to take on certified role and stand in front of regulator. Deep knowledge of CASS rules, especially CASS 3, 6, 7 and derivatives rules Excellent planning and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
