Our client is a London-based Asset Manager who are looking for an innovative individual with experience within CASS.Salary: Up to £67,000.Role and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Credit Risk, the successful candidate will be responsible for;Work with the Client Operations teams on a daily basis as a specialist resource to ensure that operational procedures maintain compliance with CASS.Review risk events and incidents to ensure that CASS impact is correctly assessed, appropriate remedial action is taken and appropriate preventative steps are put in place.Periodically review controls that are being performed by Client Operations to ensure that adequate oversight of the platform providers and transfer agents CASS compliance is in place.Define and implement new control processes where required enhancements are identified.Liaise with the platform provider and transfer agent to ensure that adequate systems and controls are in place in relation to CASS compliance for the clients money and assets.Participate in the definition, testing and implementation of any CASS related enhancements to processes carried out by the platform provider and transfer agent.Ensure that CASS related procedures are reviewed on a regular basis in accordance with the relevant department policy.Maintain documentation that records the mapping of CASS rules to its controls and risks.Assist with the collation of CASS related metrics and reporting for the CASS Forum, European Risk Committee and Board meetings.Participate in CASS Forum and CASS Working Group meetings as required.Manage the effective and timely completion of the annual CASS audit.Participate in due diligence reviews of platform providers and transfer agents.Develop and maintain an understanding of the requirements of CASS through attendance at industry forums and training events.Participate in and own projects or other initiatives as required to enhance controls and operational efficiencies.RequirementsPractical experience and understanding of the application of the CASS rulebook as it applies to asset management and wealth management firms.Experience working in a CASS Oversight team.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work within a team environment, whilst taking personal responsibility for delivery of tasks.Confidence working with figures and strong analytical skills.Strong proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications.
