A career with The Grosvenor Victoria Casino could be the start of one amazing journey!Job DescriptionGrosvenor Casino is looking for an experienced casino cashier to join our team and be entrusted with the finances of the venue. You will be responsible for correctly accounting for all transactions whilst complying with all gambling regulations and protectingthe reputation of the company by adhering to its policies. Through a detailed training program designed by the head cashier, you will quickly become a valuable member of the team and able to work both independently and collaboratively with the rest of theteam.Duties & Responsibilities;

• Acknowledge, welcome and assist customers atthe Cash Desk ensuring customer satisfaction
• Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility and Solutions
• Collaborate and work as part of the cash desk and wider casino team
• To comply with all company procedures as required by the Cash Desk Manual, and applicable group policies
• To Comply with our Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.
• To comply with the Gambling Act, its regulations and Gambling Commission license conditions and codes of practice.
• Reports to the Head Cashier
• Where appropriate, recommend the loyalty program to customers, alongside additional products and services, aimed at providing a excellent customer experience
• Support with any cash or asset counts in the club
• Maintain accurate records and accounts of all operations in the Cash Desk as per the Cash Desk manual and as requested by the Head Cashier

QualificationsTrainee Casino Cashier;

• Good math and numerical skills, with the ability to handle and account for large sums of cash and gaming chips.
• Willingness to learn legislation related to the cash desk function and pass a competency test.
• Good customer service skills and the ability to handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with casino customer management systems and other financial software.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet.
• Motivated and self-driven to constantly enhance skills and adapt to changes in procedure / legislation.
• On request, willing to apply for and obtain a Personal Functional License (PFL) issued by the UK Gambling Commission.
• Potential to develop into a competent and trained casino cashier through on-the-job training and experience.
