Fundamental to the Colleges forward-thinking strategy is support forthe environment and food supply in Greater London and the southeast,An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Cashier/Finance Assistant to join our friendly Finance team based at the Enfield campus.The successful candidatewill be responsible for a range of financial duties including collecting and posting of income, processing and banking of cash, managing the Colleges G4S account, processing of petty cash payments to staff and the reconciliation of the petty cash account,processing of supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements and designated balance sheet accounts.The ideal candidate will have strong cashiering, numeracy, communication and IT (Microsoft Excel) skills. The candidate will need to demonstrate the abilityto work accurately handling and accounting for cash and credit card takings on their own, as well as being a member of an effective and a busy Finance team.
