Job Description

WarnerMedia are on the search for a Cash Analyst to join the London team on a contract basis for initially 6 months, starting in February 2021.Purpose and ScopeThe role will primarily be responsible for managing the incoming cash activity for the EMEA & APAC regions. The role will involve processing cheque and BACS payments for the relevant EMEA & APAC bank accounts, closely liaising with the Cash Analyst and Billing Team. The role is also responsible for processing all AR maintenance in the ERP.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily download of bank statements and allocation of transactions to the appropriate business area, account, transaction in ERP, processing Small Balance, Exchange GN/LS and Bank Charges Write Offs as required.
  • Run Daily Control reports, making appropriate corrections if needed.
  • Investigation of unknown payments and management of the unidentified deposits account.
  • Review, process and electronically file all AR maintenance requests.
  • Direct journal Intercompany and non-AR related receipts as required.
  • Investigation of bank reconciliation items regarding unapplied receipts.
  • Monthly reporting of cash activity for input in to monthly KPIs for AR department.
  • Maintain Withholding Tax Certification log.
  • Internal and External Auditor liaison as required.
  • Peoplesoft testing and maintenance as required.
  • 3rd party debt collection liaison.
    • Selection Criteria
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Ledger / Cash Analyst role for a global organization with multi-currency transactions.
  • Experience in similar line of business desired.
  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths, A Levels/Degree desired.
  • Intermediate to advance Excel.
  • Experience using Peoplesoft, Oracle or SAP applications.
