Job Description

Care Manager - Award Winning Care Provider - NW London - up to £40k (DoE)

  • Salary up to £40,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle is needed

We are looking for an experienced Care Manager to join an established, award winning care provider in NW London. Were looking for someone with a positive, resilient and meticulous nature, who is empathetic and supportive, passionate aboutproviding an exceptional service and driven and focused on growing and developing the business.Committed to providing person-centred care and giving customers the very best care service possible, you will be a strong leader who is passionate about care, quality and compliance.Please note - this is not a Care Home Manager role, this is a Community Care Manager role within a Care provider.Key responsibilities as the Community Care Manager will include:
  • Providing leadership, management and high levels of support to the care team
  • Quality assurance and governance through scheduled Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits and Annual Surveys through visiting Service Users homes
  • Completing and continuously improving Assessments, Risk Assessments and Support Plans
  • Continually reviewing and improving processes
  • Ensuring exceptional levels of compliance are achieved with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards and policies
  • Working with the HR Manager to provide training of caregivers and maintain high retention ratios
  • Managing schedules and rotas
  • Attending to emergency on-call calls 1-2 weekends per month on a rota (additional payment)
What were looking for:
  • Previous experience in a similar care management role
  • Experience with care needs, risk assessment processes and working 1:1 with service users and their families
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be an ambassador for the company, talking passionately about the services and values to potential clients, referral services and care professionals
  • Working towards, or willing to undertake, a QCF Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Management or leadership experience in the care industry with in-depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria
  • Highly organised nature with excellent planning and prioritising skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Full, clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
