Job Description

Care AssistantLondon£11.50 p/h The Recruitment Crowd are working with a luxury Care Group who are winners of Best Nursing Care and are in the process of further growth opening 3 stunning brand-new homes within London. Theyre looking to recruit multiple Care Assistants to join their teamon this journey. Do you want to work in beautiful propertiesBrief overview of the role:

  • Provide direct care to members supporting and promoting their independence choice, dignity and overall wellbeing
  • Use of manual and handling equipment, wheelchairs and so on
  • Care will be provided in line with each members Personal Care Plan, where this is observed to require altering
  • Providing ongoing support for the members, their family and the Clinical Service Team. This includes liaising with the members and their family to ensure they have supplies of personal clothing and grooming or beauty products that the member prefers touse.
  • Participate in members activities and events
  • Attend initial and updated mandatory training as required, and actively engage in clinical or professional supervision including one-to-one meetings and yearly reviews, ensuring personal professional knowledge and competency is maintained.
  • Have a duty of care to respond to and provide support for requests for help, including emergency calls.
  • Maintain personal responsibilities under Health and Safety at Work Regulations, and compliance with the company Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working practices and the recommended storage of equipment.
  • Follow and report all concerns and incidents in line with the company incident reporting and whistleblowing procedure, including safeguarding adults procedures.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2
  • Previous Experience in a similar setting
