Care Support WorkerService Name: 5 Horse LeazeLocation: Beckton, E6 6WJSalary: £10.50Various Hours: 0 - 38 hoursDo you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, enabling them to gain greater independence and improve their well-being If the answer is yes, read on!Who we are.We are Ambient Support, a registered UK charity with over 25 years’ experience in providing care and support services for older people, people with a mental health needs and people with learning disabilities.The service, located in Beckton offers a range of care and support options for up to 6 respite residents, including residential stays, day care or support and care at home. Support is provided on a one-to-one basis and is based on an individual’s needs.Residential stays can range from a day or up to a week with specialist themed breaks available. Drop-in services are also available, to provide a break for the person being supported and their care workers.The RoleA fantastic opportunity for you to make a positive difference to people’s lives by encouraging our service users to take part in activities. On day trips out we may use a minibus for small groups, or we may choose to use public transport to help build confidenceand familiarity with local landmarks. This forms an important part ofvocational training to help people develop more independent living skills. No two days will be the same and you will be rewarded with the satisfaction that you are making a difference.About youWe are looking for new Care Support Workers to join our passionate and supportive team.
