Job Description

The RoleHRGO Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Caf manager to join our clients team and oversee the day-to-day operations in their new caf.The ideal candidate will have Barista experience along with a passion for fresh food and great drinks.As Caf Manager, youll work closely with the Executive Chef to come up with creative and innovative offers and events whilst managing a team in busy environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff
  • Delivery of exceptional operational standards
  • Carrying out appraisals and performance management of the caf team
  • With the help of the Executive Chef, implement seasonal offers and drinks based on customer preferences and feedback
  • Identify strategies to retain and attract customers to the caf
  • Oversee food standards and quality in all fresh food areas
  • Finalising End of Month files for accounts team with Executive Chef.
  • Writing the monthly rota for supervised staff for sign off by the Executive Chef
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the food service areas ensuring all aspects of the Food Safety Act are maintained.
  • To attend regular team meetings with other members of the senior staff and Executive Chef.
Requirements:
  • Proven management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a caf environment.
  • Full understanding / training in front of house operations
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
  • Exemplary management and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
Salary £25,837 pa/ £13.25.30 per hour & Competitive benefits37.5 hours a week, including some weekends. No split shifts, some evenings may be required depending on the demands of the businessStaff benefits include but are not limited to:
