Job Description

A specialist Neighbourly matters Consultancy requires an experienced CAD Analyst, in Rights of Light, to join their team. This vacancy is available due to them winning a series of instructions.The client base that this consultancy work with is excellent- It consists of funds and major London Property companies occupying some of the most prestigious addresses in London. This role will initially be a home working role, moving towards a mixture of remote and office based, with a likely ratio of 2 days in theoffice and 3 days from home, to suit business needs.The Ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in undertaking Rights of Light and Daylight & Sunlight CAD analysis and modelling, and additionally has an appreciation of the Legal & Surveying principles around ROL issues.You will be using CAD and MBS surveying software, studying technical drawings and other CAD source data and drawing on ROL case law to assist the Surveyors to reach their objectives quickly and efficiently.They seek an ambitious person that has a passion for this type of work. There will be an opportunity for you to progress quickly in this team, where there is a potential for you to work directly with clients, attend site visits and work towards becominga Technical ROL Surveyor if that is something that would interest you.Experience Required:

  • Experience of undertaking rights of light and daylight and sunlight analyses using MBS surveying software.
  • Experience of constructing and assembling 3D models using AutoCAD and working with architectural and surveying 2D and 3D CAD data.
  • Previous Rights of Light industry experience
  • A good understanding of technical drawings and other CAD source data
