C# / Azure Developer (Associate Director): Hybrid WFH / City HQ to suit. c£110,000 + bonus. How would you like to work on an exciting greenfield, multi-year project in the front office of one of the largest Asset Management organisations in the worldOur client are seeking an expert Developer / Software Engineer to help them build an event driven microservice architecture using Confluent Kafka, .Net and Azure. This will be a truly transformational project with support across the whole of Asset Management.The goal is to create a simplified cloud native service-oriented architecture developed on their award-winning platform. A self-starter, capable of working in an autonomous delivery team that is aligned to delivering business value, you will be part of a small cross-functional, distributed team following Agile ways of working. Your expertise: Strong experience with C# and .NET Core. Strong experience with SQL Server and familiarity with other database technologies such as NoSQL. Experience with Cloud architecture and engineering, ideally on Microsoft Azure (Kubernetes Service, Container Apps, AppService, Functions, Event Grid and Service Bus). Experience with Messaging platforms, ideally Kafka. Experience with Containers, ideally in Kubernetes.Required:* Bachelors (IT/Computer Science/ Relevant Engineering) * Optional Masters Degree preferred (IT/Computer Science Preferred/Financial Engineering) or equivalent experience * Excellent understanding of C# and .NET Core and Microsoft Azure essential * Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka is beneficial * Excellent understanding of SQL Server and familiarity with other database technologies such as NoSQL. * Experience with DevOps, Containerization and Kubernetes. * Experience in successfully building, releasing, and maintaining enterprise systems in a complex technology environment * Good understanding and usage of design patterns, object-oriented (OO) development, * Clean Code and SOLID design principles * Experience working in an agile environment with focus on Scrum or iterative delivery practices * Some experience and understanding of DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery preferred Desirable:* Familiarity with architecture patterns such as Microservices, Event-driven etc.* Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and ReactJS.
