Business Unit Controller: Our client is one of the worlds largest and most well-known companies in their media industry niche. Operating for almost 30 years, they are facing remarkable growth and and now have an opening for a self-driven and highly organisedBusiness Unit Controller / Finance Manager to report both to the VP Finance Europe, as well as working with the Regional MD for Northwest Europe.Responsible for the reporting requirements of the UK legal entities and UK Business Unit, you will also be reviewing and submitting the monthly UK management accounts, including monthly UK BU slides for management review. Additional responsibilities include:* Preparation/review of monthly P&L and balance sheet for group consolidation* Preparation of year-end audited financial statements for the UK entities and timelydelivery of audit* Supervision and development of the Poland based direct reports * Preparation of budgets for the UK business unit and forecasts when required* Calculation of POC accruals, recharges and salary split journals for reportingpurposes.To be successful in the role, you will require the following attributes:* ACA qualified (or ACCA equivalent) with > 3 years post qualification experience * Strong technical knowledge in FRS 102, knowledge of IFRS helpful as the Group is nowreporting under IFRS* Practical experience in management reporting and financial reporting* Adaptable to change and thrives working in a fast-paced environment * Good interpersonal skills and ability to form professional relationships withcolleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority and globally.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Finance professional looking for their next career move with a highly progressive organisation.
