Due to a re-organisation in the Trading Platform and Core Technology department, we have a vacancy for someone to lead a newly formed Business Technology team.We arecurrently working remotely, but once it is safe to do so, we will expect all team members to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week on average. Although this is the minimum, the successful candidate will be expected to spend a sufficient amount of face-to-facetime with their team, peers and stakeholders to ensure they are able to fulfil their function.We are looking for a hands-on technologist and problem solver with the analytical skills to transform business process models using low code technology solutions.The team will also take responsibility for managing business facing vendor products, ensuring that they are kept up to date.Our low code solutions encompass integration, robotics, workflow, document management and reporting. We are bringing together an experiencedteam of support analysts, business analysts and developers to own and maintain these tools. The team will be responsible for identifying suitable candidate projects, defining best practise, empowering our colleagues outside of technology, and harvesting solutionsbuilt outside the team for re-engineering and reuse.The Business Technology team will work alongside colleagues in Development, Engineering, Dev Ops, Data, Support and Business Analysis to deliver integrated solutions for our stakeholders across Man Group,including our Investment teams, Risk Management, Compliance, Sales and Marketing, Funds Treasury, Operations and Corporate Functions.This opening has the potential for extensive interaction with business stakeholders across the Man Group, so would suit individualswho are keen to learn more about our business and thrive on stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with our stakeholders Work with other technology colleagues to solve stakeholder problems using the most pragmatic and efficientsolutions across low code, vendor and development options Help define and comply with governance rules and best practise for low code tools Ensure that solutions are documented, facilitate knowledge sharing and education on tools both within the team and toour stakeholders Work on the end-to-end delivery process - from requirements gathering through to development, testing and coordinating deployment Participate in managing relationships with software vendors Key Skills Excellent organisational skills Demonstratableexperience of using technology to produce business process change Delivery focused approach, ensuring business value is being met Ability to manage multiple workstreams and conflicting priorities Understanding of agile development methodologies Experienceof any of the following low code tools (or similar) would be advantageous, but not essential: Python, RPA, Atlassian, Sharepoint, Workato, Tableau, Office 365 including power BI Confident communicator, able to deal positively with conflicting views An interestin investment management and experience of dealing with complexity
