Business Support Analyst to assist in the development and implementation of a new sustainable investment analytical system for the Equity division. Business Support Analysts take responsibility for analysing and organising the data into an easy to consumeformat, as well as developing and implementing system processes, allowing investment management teams the time and space to concentrate on making investment decisions. The Business Support Analyst main customer will be the Head of Global and Thematics, theywill also work closely with other Business Support Analysts and the Equity investment teams to implement the new sustainable investment system for Equities.About Schroders Were a global investment manager. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.Whatyoull do Work as a part of the business support analysts within Investment and Product Management Support in a dynamic environment Actively participate in the business process design for the sustainable investment analytical systems and be responsible forimplementing changes Responsible for analysing data and organising it in to an easy to read format for senior management Liaise with internal customers to identify and analyse their needs, providing a high level of customer service Present, explain and seekguidance from stakeholders Responsible for continual review and improvement to system processed and workflows The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need Experience with screening tools and portfolio attribution tools in key investment systems suchas Factset, Bloomberg or Eikon The ability to understand performance reporting, risk attribution and analytics Advanced Excel skills and be comfortable organising data, creating graphs and tables for summaries/overviews Experience using MSCI ESG and Sustainalyticssystems and an understanding of the key themes used to classify stocks in such systems A background in asset management, with an understanding of thematic investing and current themes influencing investor thoughts and investment ideas An understanding of bothESG and Impact investing, with a particular focus on ESG scoring and the UN Sustainable Development Goals To be confident presenting research results to internal teams and senior colleagues The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help Previousexperience using Blackrock Aladdin Experience using investment risk systems such as Style Research, Barra Portfolio Manager or Axioma Experience developing new products, or an understand of the product development process Previous experience of conductingcompetitor analysis and market research An understanding of coding languages, such as R or Python What youll be like Interested in thematic investing and active management The ability to think outside of the box and develop concepts from initial ideas Ableto work independently and as part of a team Effective at communicating with both junior and senior members of staff Strong time management - able to work to and meet deadlines Were looking for the best, whoever they are Schroders is an equal opportunitiesemployer.
