As a self-employed Business Partner in the Dingwall and Thurso Agency, youll have the opportunity to run and develop an existing insurancebusiness alongside two experienced partners in the NFU Mutual Agency network. Well also support you to carry out regulated activities as an Appointed Representative of an authorised firm, with a ready-made,proven framework and training to help you understand the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements. Operating as one business across two locations the Dingwall and Thurso Agency has a loyal customer base and performs a hugely important role of providinginsurance services to an attractive mix of farming and rural businesses. Building on the success of the agency youll have ample opportunity to develop client relationships and drive business growth in the agricultural market, whilst maintaining the high levelsof service existing customers have grown to expect. The highly supportive, loyal and active NFU Scotland branch also provides an excellent opportunity for you to grow your team and make the agency your own. Whether youre out in a field talking to a localfarmer or sitting in a boardroom discussing an acquisition with a CEO, youll appreciate the issues your customers are facing and give them the support and advice they need. Johnny Hogg, Business Partner, Thurso Depending on where yourebased, your time can be split across both sites, but as youll be required in the Thurso offices at least 3 days per week you would ideally be based in Thurso. You may have knowledge of insurance or finance, but as our existing Agents come from a broad range of backgrounds, its more important that you know how to use your entrepreneurialflair and clear vision to grow your business.
