Job Description

Find out more about us on our website.The roleWe’re looking for colleagues who share our purpose, our integrity, and our high standards. As a member of the business operations team, your focus will be on finance, IT and facilities in addition to broad operational support, transformation and other enablingactivities that mean our consultants can focus relentlessly on their clients. That means we’re looking for someone who can:
  • Deliver timely and accurate firm finance operations, billing and bookkeeping ensuring we stay compliant with policy and best practice.
  • Monitor spend against budgets and creating management reports to surface variances, risks, opportunities and trends.
  • Work collaboratively with the firms accountants to meet reporting and tax obligations and continually maximise Xero and O365 functionality.
  • Manage firm resources and assets including colleague on and offboarding and ensure accurate tracking through finance systems.
  • Manage the relationship with the firms IT provider including scoping and project managing development and improvement projects, e.g. SharePoint intranet and workflow optimisation.
  • Support the firms data processing and retention activities through regular monitoring and checks to ensure ongoing GDPR compliance and colleague engagement.
  • Lead agreed transformation and change initiatives as part of a small and dynamic team, as we continue to improve and grow the firm.
  • Work flexibly to provide support across the firm and the whole business operations portfolio as needed by the business.
The personIf you’re the person we’re looking for, you’ll:
  • Enjoy working independently and at pace to deliver brilliant work product.
  • Have a sound and evidenced grasp of business finance, which may be through part / full accountancy qualification or experience in a prior role.
  • Have a forensic eye for detail, and be able to connect the dots and think broadly across the whole operational portfolio and wider business.
  • Demonstrate high standards of organisation and compliance and have the passion to expect and promote the same from colleagues.
  • Be passionate about the firms and your own ongoing growth and development and have a willingness to support where needed.

  • Competitive basic salary £35-45k (depending on accounting qualifications)
