Business Intelligence Engineer £310 per day (PAYE) 6-month contract /Hybrid (London office)Companyleading online retailer client are looking for a Business Intelligent Engineer to assist Indirect Tax Audits and work in support of Audit Readiness within the Global Tax services department.In this role you will regularly interface with Tax, Finance & Accounting customers, collecting customer desires & providing solutions.You will also be responsible for being a significant problem solver, by analysing the core root of the issues by developing an understanding of the clients data resources to improve meaningful findings and provide required data.Skills & Qualifications required: * BS degree in Accounting, Business, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent experience* Data investigation across business processes/business systems, especially SQL proficiency pulling data from various sources* SQL knowledge - data modelling - ETL development and data warehousing* Data engineering or analytics within a tech environment* Advanced knowledge Excel or Tableau or similar BI toolsDesirable but not essential:* Alteryx knowledge* APIs/Javascript/Python* Data management & modelling fundamentals and data storage principles* Building/operating highly available distributed systems of data extraction, ingestion & processing of large data sets* Building large scale data productsThis is a great opportunity to work on an exciting project for one of the worlds largest organisations.Please apply with your up-to-date CV if this sounds of interest to yourself!
