Job Title Business Finance Lead Location LondonCorporate Title Assistant Vice President The European Rates business specializes in buying and selling products linked to movements in Interest Rates, long term FX and multi-correlation assets. As the Business Finance Lead, you will be responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and timely deliveryof the business financials. You will be the primary Finance face-off to the Rates business and actively partner through insightful and relevant analysis, commentary and advice around Financial Resource Management to enable informed decision making, with afocus on the Europe Repo and Commodities businesses. Your key responsibilities
  • Support with the maintenance and enhancement of the integrity of the business line financials
  • Oversight of Revenue, Leverage, RWA, financials (IFRS and HGB, disclosures) and other financial resources within the context of the specific desks covered
  • Support new product / new trade activity within Finance
  • Development of engagement with all stakeholders including within Finance as well as Market Risk, Front Office, Operations and Global Technology
  • Provision of SME input and business-wide guidance in key projects such as infrastructure, regulatory and accounting changes
Your skills and experience
  • Enthusiasm for business drivers and resource management (e.g. trading strategies, leverage)
  • A strong control focus with the ability to strengthen the control environment in a cost-conscious manner.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to drive issues to a successful resolution.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentational skills.
  • Excellent influencing skills both with stakeholders and cross-functional/geographically distributed teams.
