Their mission is to drive client success through great, user-centric work.Job Description.My Client is looking for a Business Director to join the Client Services team in our London office.The Business Director is an equal mix of being a clients strategic partner, the business operator, and a champion of the craft. Their core focus is to develop and maintain trusting, longstanding and profitable relationships with key senior-level clients.The Business Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and organic growth across large scale engagements. The Business Director is able to identify a clients business needs and inspire the cross-disciplinary teams to deliver world classcreative, product and experience to drive impact and measurable results for our clients.A proactive attitude, ability to apply critical thinking and passion for setting and leading the strategic direction is at the core of this role. An ability to solicit information, understand your clients business and develop tangible opportunities to strengthenand grow the agency x client relationship is a key skill of any successful Business Director.Responsibilities.

  • Responsible for proactively developing and leading overall account strategy and growth.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining trusting, strategic and longstanding relationships with our clients, that deliver the highest levels of value and impact.
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams to develop creative and strategic work that transforms our clients business.
  • Grow our client base with key client executives and maintain strong senior relationships, as well as introduce new opportunities accordingly while providing meaningful contribution to organic growth and new business.
  • Lead the strategic development of new business through identification, pursuit and conversion of additional opportunities for my client.
  • Work in conjunction with Finance to effectively manage account profitability by negotiating statements of work and contracts.
  • Participate in recruitment initiatives by managing the interview and selection process ensuring to recruit top talent.
  • Lead and mentor others within their client teams or portfolio, and provide a viewpoint on team resource and configuration.
What wed like to see.
  • Experience at Business Director or comparable level.
  • Seasoned in a client services organization, on accounts within an agency or top tier
  • Proven ability to grow long term, multi-million pound engagements.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted, long term and profitable relationships with senior clients.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify, shape and convert large scale, strategic opportunities with clients.
  • Ability to manage and set client expectations through the understanding of the clients business, whatever market sector, and ability to discuss knowledgably with the client.
  • Ability to build a team, mentor and effectively manage through proactively addressing performance issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Must have strong presentation skills, with the ability to conceive, prepare, author and give key presentations to clients and large numbers of people, as well as manage question-and-answer sessions.
  • Understanding of team utilization and project allocation, and ability to manage overall client profitability.
