Job Description

Converting Data into Market Trust European DataWarehouse Ltd. (EDW Ltd.) is the subsidiary of Europes first central data repository for collecting standardised and asset class specific loan level data (LLD) for Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) transactions.Following the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union EDW Ltd. has been established to continue serving UK issuers of ABS transactions meeting their regulatory reporting obligations. Business Development & Sales Manager for European DataWarehouseLimited UK-based (preferably South-East) As Business Development & Sales Manager with direct report to the Managing Director of EDW Ltd., you will be responsible for business development (BD) and relationship management for EDW Ltd. In addition, you will bepart of the wider business development effort of EDW Group, identifying strategic business opportunities, managing existing and new client relationships and spearheading upcoming reporting standards across Europe, e.g. in the drive towards an European ESGstandardization and transparency framework. The role will be apportioned approximately 50/50 between the UK and EU efforts You will have the opportunity to identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the businessgrow in the UK & EU to build and grow EDW products and services for our clients. You will represent the company and interact closely with the relevant regulatory bodies. You will build and nurture client relationships and ensure the success of EDWs securitisationrepository business in the UK. Your Tasks: Build and maintain deep and valuable relationships withclients and stakeholders of European DataWarehouse. Obtaining a deep understanding of customer needs. Contributing to EDWs market development activities, and collaboration with colleagues to build a strong pipeline of business opportunities with existingand new clients. Promote and foster the use of EDWs services and solutions by existing clients and prospects. Continually seek to improve the customer experience through improving service design and delivery, regularly seeking feedback from stakeholders togauge satisfaction, service quality, accessibility and responsiveness. Monitoring the regulatory developments around the Securitisation Regulation, Sustainable Finance (including ESG), the implementation of the EU NPL Action Plan or Green Bond Standard. Contributingto the analysis of emerging market trends and policy developments. Develop business case documents and coordinate their submission, review and consideration by senior management and relevant committees. Drive and lead business development projects in collaborationwith different stakeholders cross functionally. Be on top of relevant technology trends, and its impacts for European Datawarehouse. Work with the marketing team, to identify, plan, speak at and host relevant events. Business travels - ability to travel atleast 20% of the time Your Skills, Knowledge and Interest: Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fields of study 5 + years of professional experience in the field of business development, sales, product development and/or Innovation management. Good understandingof and experience in the financial service industry (specifically asset backed securities). Experience in management consulting for financial institutions and governments is a plus Obtaining a deep understanding of customer needs & problems Ability to buildrelationships and a creative approach to problem solving and an entrepreneurial attitude are important Organised, efficient, creative, and capable of implementing multiple tasks simultaneously Have in-depth knowledge of business products and related valuepropositions Self-driven and highly motivated Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with staff on different levels of seniority. Very good understanding in depth how to build up business case and drive project forward. Ability to writecompelling, articulate proposals for innovative solutions. Pro-active, self-starter with strong research and analytical skills. Strong communication skills including reporting writing, presentation preparation and delivery. Very good communication, coordinationskills and strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and writing skills in English. Additional European language skills is a plus.
