Our client is a leading, London-based firm specialising in Intellectual Property-related matters.They are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager to be working with clients as well as with internal stakeholders across multiple teams on a variety of business development initiatives and activities.Client DetailsOur client is a leading Intellectual Property (IP) firm with this role being based out of their London office in the heart of the Legal district. Our client is one of Europes largest IP firms and has 22 offices across Europe.Our client has a particularly large presence across Germany and The Netherlands, so speaking either German or Dutch in addition to speaking English is desirable but not essential.DescriptionYou will be responsible for supporting attorneys, particularly new partners, directors and senior attorneys, in the pursuit of selling intellectual property services to new clients both in the UK and Europe. You will also be asked to work with selected clientmanagers to support them in their development plans. The role supports the business plans of the firms strategy and also the plans of the 7 strategic business units within the firm. This is a new role and previous experience of selling professional servicesis essential.The Business Development team consists of eight people who provide BD and marketing support to each of our clients offices in the UK and Europe across 7 Strategic business units.
