Job Description

Business Development ManagerJob Title: Business Development Manager Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 initially with a rise after 3 months up to a maximum of £45,000Location: Field basedLondon and South EastSector / Industry: SecurityJob Reference: LM0908SIm currently recruiting for an opportunity for an experienced business development manager from the security space to join professionals with over 20 years in the industry within their growing business. The role will be covering a patch of the South Eastof the UK and has a great deal of potential from a career point of view with aims for this person to be developed through succession planning into a more director style position with management responsibilities in the future.The role will be full time but hours flexible to suit the successful person and your diary will be your own to manage.The main purpose of the role will be to approach businesses within the public and private sectors to identify potential opportunities to do business with them. Presentation you will develop relationships over a period of time until the business is able toprovide them with security options and then on an ongoing basis you will maintain this relationship..Package Details:

  • £36,000 - £40,000 initially with a rise after 3 months up to a maximum of £45,000
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday full time
  • Pension
  • Holidays - 28 days
  • Car allowance
  • Laptop, phone and fuel covered
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify prospects within the security space including who is the best point of contact and what services from the business are good to offer
  • build relationships over an ongoing basis two new customers
  • assist with the onboarding process for new customers including creation of tenders
  • presenting services of the company to new businesses face to face and online
  • manage existing relationships with customers
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experienced in the business development within security is essential
  • good relationship builder
  • good presentation skills
  • knowledge of tenders and negotiation
  • Good communicator
