Business Development ManagerSell high value Sponsorship packages for B2B Conferences & EventsLondon office + flexible workingBase salary up to £30K + Uncapped CommissionA great opportunity for an ambitious B2B sales professional to join a global conference company to sell sponsorship & exhibition space on large-scale digital & Live conferences. These are high profile B2B events created for a number of industries from tech to pharma, the events bring together new & established brands, high profile professionals & experts to lead new thinking, solutions and innovation.The JobThis Business Development Manager position sits within a growing sales team in an established global conference company.Your responsibilities:

  • Sell high value sponsorship packages for B2B Conferences & Events
  • Generate sponsorship leads through research, cold calling, email marketing & networking and manage the sales cycle from start to finish
  • In-depth research into relevant businesses sectors that highlight potential partners
  • Develop, maintain and expand relationships with clients across the global industry
  • Build your own portfolio of clients, leading to future account management opportunities
  • Contribute innovative and creative ideas to build exciting packages for sponsors
  • Manage and update the CRM
  • Support clients on-site at events to help deliver outstanding client experience
  • General sponsorship administration
  • Work with a supportive manager & collaborative team in a global events company
  • The person
  • This is an early career opportunity
  • A degree in plus 1-2 years B2B Sales experience - ideally you will have been working in a sponsorship sales, recruitment or business development role.
  • Comfortable & confident attending events (when possible), communicating at senior level over the phone and attending sales meetings.
  • Able to work on a project basis, delivering to deadlines and target.
  • You will be confident identifying & developing new business and managing the sales process from start to finish.
  • Able to successfully manage & organise your time and sales pipeline.
  • Work with positivity, proactive with a can do’ attitude
  • Competitive to hit & exceed your targets
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Excellent IT & CRM skills
