Job Description

You understand our mission and values and are the link between our new and potential clients.The Role:This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leisure professional who can demonstrate excellent commercial, operational and project management skills. As part of the role, you will work closely with the Fusion Executive Management Team, Business DevelopmentTeam and Senior Team to deliver successful tenders and continued positive client relationships on behalf of the Company.You will establish and maintain a clear understanding of future business development opportunities, manage new business development opportunities, support all relevant new business mobilisations, lead on ongoing client liaison processes and new businessdevelopment opportunities with existing clients, and you will also lead on the retention of our current clients.This is an exciting role that will involve travel across the UK to develop new business partnerships with clients whilst maintaining the highest level of availability for our current clients. All reasonable travel costs will be covered from a UK base.Other Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the local authority information database
  • Ongoing research into non-local authority new business opportunities
  • Management of the new opportunity pipeline
  • Creation and management of tender project plans
  • Establishment and coordination of tender project teams
  • Coordination of all tender project activities
  • Completion of all tender stage submissions
  • Undertaking project management duties with relevant colleagues
  • Leading on client liaison activities
  • Briefing of Divisional Business Managers and other relevant colleagues of key client issues
  • Establishment and management of the client calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all contractual obligations
  • Coordination of production of all client reports and other submissions
  • Management of all client meetings, including coordination of responses to all actions arising
  • Coordination of creation, management, review and reporting of annual service plan
  • Coordination of input from relevant colleagues
  • Production and implementation of contract retention plan
