Job Description

Business Development Manager44k BasicPlus bonus and overtime payHybrid workingPeppermint work in partnership with Levy UK, together we are looking for a Business Development Manager to work with the Peppermint team!PurposePeppermint provide high-performance festival bars and event solutions to the worlds best entertainment businesses and consumer brands. Our core business is operating festival and event bar solutions to the UKs best sports events, festivals and outdoorevents.Everything we do is geared towards delivering event owners and promoters a complementary range of event solutions to add value to their event. We are proud to be working alongside the cream of the UKs best festivals, venues, sports events and concerts from All Points East to The British Open.This role primarily concerns generating and securing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will win new events through networking, costing, pitching and account managing.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESPre-Event

  • Oversight and leadership of preparation of pitch documents
  • Timely response to tender documents
  • Supporting new business development strategies with the directors
  • Manage client relationships (new and existing)
  • Leadership of creation of sales collateral (with professional support where required)
  • Pro-actively searching for new business opportunities
  • Facilitating meetings & following up actions
  • Pro-actively looking for new business opportunities
  • Overseeing efficient handover with the Project Management teams
  • Negotiation with clients & prospects
  • Working with the budget planner to cost up new events
  • Developing and measuring sales plans and targets in partnership with the team
  • Building a strong working relationship with each Project Manager to ensure they are informed of any commercial
  • changes or developments to events
  • Adhoc tasks and projects as required
Post-Event
  • Full analysis post-show: what did and didnt work
  • Dealing with any major disputes in conjunction with Peppermint and each client.
  • Preparing a full client brief summarising the commercial and operational outcomes of each event as well as an overall summary of the success or not of an event.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with all four company directors.
