Job Description

Start Date: ASAPLocation: Central LondonSalary: £30k - £35k Basic (first year OTE £48k) Sector: Beauty SaaS - Salon / Spa / HairdresserThe Company This client of ours sells the no.1 technology platform for salons, spas & hairdressers. They sell a leading SaaS platform that allows salons and similar to save money, work more efficiently and increase revenue. This product is a leader in the market with a huge internal tech team, ensuring the product is ever evolving.My client focused on making the best product on the market and, now theyve achieved this, they are looking to ramp up their Business Development team with sales professionals! They are still a start up and have recently got huge investment so have money to spend and grow on the team.Based in the heart of London, they work within an incredibly interesting sector of beauty. If you are interested in the sector and love the idea of speaking with salons, hairdressers & spas then this role is perfect for you.This is a relationship focused, business development role. You will be focused on building relationships with prospective new clients and ensuring they get the most from the technology.They champion a fun culture, with a hard working environment. The most important thing about you is to be able to build relationships. Salon, spa and hairdresser owners love to chat - so you need to chat with them!What The Role Entails - Business Development - Beauty

  • You will be making outbound calls to salons etc across London
  • You will be doing plenty of client meetings when the world is back to normal based on the nature of this market sector
  • This role is all about striking up strong working relationships. Once you enter a salon/spa, the owners will want to chat with you. You need to be willing to chat about anything to build the rapport and win the business!
  • You will need to be patient and have a technical mind as is the client base will struggle to use the product effectively, you will need to be able to help them understand how to use it
  • You will be tasked on conducting product demonstrations with clients to show them the different tech and help them understand the benefits
  • Manage the clients through the onboarding process, working alongside the account management team
  • What I am Looking For - Business Development - Beauty
  • Sales experience is essential. You ideally need 2-3 years sales experience with a strong element of outbound prospecting or cold-calling.
  • Specific experience selling to spas, salons or hairdressers would be very beneficial
  • A love for the beauty industry is essential, given the client base. Your job is all about walking into and building relationships with owners of beauty locations so you need to be able to find common ground with this subject matter
  • Having some interest or knowledge of tech is important, as you will be helping the clients use the most of the technology. The client base are not known for being tech users necessarily, so this will need patience.
