Job Description

Do you enjoy the thrill of the chase The satisfaction that comes from securing a new meeting with a potential client, all based on the relationship you have managed to buildWere looking for a Business Development Executive for one of our clients, a fantastic travel company whose target clientele are large corporate companies who travel frequently for business.This is a largely telephone based, sales driven position where youll use your naturally confident personality to quickly ascertain the right person to speak to within each company. The calls you make may be warm or cold leads and youll take the time to understandtheir needs, setting up meetings with qualified prospects for the sales teams to follow up on.Were looking for the successful person to take pride in what they do, be passionate about the company they work for and be able to represent them to a highly professional standard at all times.As the role of Business Development Executive is a sales one, were looking for a few core skills that will ensure the job is a perfect fit for you.

  • A love of talking on the phone! Youll be making 70+ calls a day so you need to enjoy it.
  • A naturally engaging, positive and friendly telephone manner
  • An inquisitive nature with a skill for active listening
  • Creative, tenacious, self motivated and determined personality
  • A person who thrives on achieving and exceeding set targets for financial reward
  • Be accurate and consistent with the administrative side of the job

Ideally youll have telesales experience but if you havent, well leave it to you to demonstrate your suitability for the role when we speak to you! Once in the role youll have all the support and training you need but success in a Business Developmentrole such as this will come from your own personal desire to achieve your goals.The position is based in London and is Monday- Friday.
