One of the fastest-growing international electric motor technology companies is seeking an experienced and engaging Business Development Executive - Inside Sales to join their UK Sales Team. To be considered, the candidate must have at least 2 years experience within a B2B sales role and have a keen interest in building their career within the engineering industry.They design and manufacture a comprehensive range of miniature motor mechanisms for a variety of highly specialised applications. The company prides itself in delivering complex engineering solutions to customers worldwide across a broad range of industries including Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Industrial, Medical and Aerospace.About the Role:The role exists to help their new business and existing account development teams win more recurring managed services business. Typically, 50% of your time will be spent in favour of new business activities.This will involve contacting our existing customers and seeking out prospects, on a worldwide basis, and progressing them to a booked call/meeting with their sales & application engineering teams. Although many of these may have not interacted with the company before, most of these are warm sales leads with limited cold-calling needed. You will be expected to follow-up through calls, emails & video conferencing. you will be expected to interact with existing clients and new customers, based internationally, from their growing customer database. For existing accounts, you will process quotations and follow-through to win the sales orders and aftersales customer service.The companys clients and target prospects are typically small to mid-sized businesses employing between 20-1000 staff. You will be targeting a range of seniority levels dependent upon the size of the company including purchasing managers, business owners and C-suites across commercial, engineering and NPI functions.This role provides the potential to grow into a sales account management role and flexible home working is available, as well as working from their offices in central London (the Oval). This will be a key role in managing technical sales and accounts as the business moves into its next stage of growth.
