Job Description

This role focuses on driving expansion of a new brand and concept across retail department stores. The Business Development Director will focus on establishing and nurturing key relationships with industry partners to deliver incremental sales growth.Client DetailsOur client is a start-up company bringing a new concept to the fragrance market. Blending technology and fragrance with Smart Scents technology, this is an exciting opportunity to grow a brand and develop a new category.Description

  • Develop and implement business strategies to boost retail sales growth
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within department stores across the UK, US & EU
  • Manage and grow key accounts once won
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise sales processes
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions
  • Drive the performance of the sales team through effective leadership and coaching
  • Participate in industry events to promote the companys image and products
  • Attend trade events to promote the brand
ProfileA successful Business Development Director should have:
  • Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role
  • Experience in fragrance and/or beauty
  • Track record of winning new business, driving growth and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of and relationships with department stores across the UK or US or EU
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in business analysis and strategic planning
  • The ability to drive a high-performance sales team
  • Based in London with the ability to travel
