Job Description

Field Sales - Business Development - London & South East My client who have an excellent reputation for delivering what they promise, together with year on year growth from humble beginnings to a turnover of several million, are now looking to add a sales person to their team.As the eCommerce supplier of choice for over 21,000 businesses, my client have hand-picked outstanding products, set market-leading prices, and built customer care and communication into the heart of their business. Choosing to work for my client, means choosing a career in a business that will really support you.With circa 40 employees, they are looking to double over the next five years, therefore the opportunity here is excellent. They have household names and recognised brands amongst their clients as well as SMEs.Being a Microsoft Gold partner they invest in their business, with up to date technology, including CRM systems as well as investing in the people they employ.PurposeTo drive new sales revenue using a consultative selling approach to both new and existing customers whilst providing an outstanding customer experience.Role Communicating with customers face to face, via the telephone/ Zoom/ to build rapport, trust and understand customer needsProgress sales opportunities through the sales funnel by investigating and understanding customer Pick, Pack and Despatch requirements.Grow and develop new business opportunitiesProvide solutions to all customer pick, pack, and despatch requirementsGenerate new sales revenue through the Prospect of designated and self-generated leadsDevelop and win new business opportunities through cooperation with all departmentsAcquire and develop market leading product knowledgeProvide monthly and quarterly reports summarizing activities and progress as well as feedback on effectiveness of leads generatedRecord all customer interactions and opportunities in the internal sales management tools (CRM)Assist all parts of the business where requiredTo meet an Annual Sales Target, as agreed with the Commercial ManagerTo achieve a Monthly Sales Target by meeting a balanced mix of customer needs.Ideal PersonPackaging, eCommerce or fulfilment sales experienceExcellent rapport building and communication skills both over the phone and face to faceA go getter who has the drive and ambition to succeedTeam player as you will partnered with an internal buddySelf motivated and driven to succeedCreative thinker who can think of ways to generate new businessGraduate calibre who can work out profit marginsGood at finding the right networking opportunities to build relationships which result in salesOrganised with good attention for detailProficient in Microsoft applications as well as updating internal systemsExcellent at building internal communications and a hunger to understand the businessFull clean driving licenceProfessional, friendly, trustworthy and good a relationship builder.Remuneration:Negotiable annual basic salary circa 30k plus uncapped commission, which currently averages at 2k per month extra for each sales person.
