Job Description

Business Development Analyst (home based)We are recruiting for a Business Development Analyst role on behalf of a leading global manufacturer. They are a very dynamic business that are one of the market leaders in their sector.The role:The position is based from home and reports into the Global Strategy and Marketing Director.The Business Development Analyst will work as part of the Key Account Development Hub supporting Key Account Managers by preparing bespoke presentation material, analysing market & performance data, investigating customer trends and coordinating internalreview discussions. The role will form a key part of the Key Account Management infrastructure and will enjoy significant airtime with senior global Directors within the business.The role will ensure that Key Account Managers are provided with the right content at the right time - freeing up their capacity to focus on winning and retaining business and managing key account relationships.Responsibilities include:

  • Works collaboratively with senior global Directors, Key Account Managers & wider organisation to drive growth ambitions
  • Directly supports Key Account Managers with presentations & sales content
  • Helps Key Account Managers develop and refine customer value propositions
  • Works with Services team to quantify & articulate the value of services
  • Develops a standardised set of value-proposition presentations
  • Acts as a conduit for the Key Account Manager / Hub into the wider organisation
  • Develops a repository of customer case studies & testimonials, highlighting the companys value proposition
  • Supports KA Managers maintain CRM with accurate and relevant information
Experience required:Qualifications:
  • An undergraduate degree
  • Proven track record of continuous professional development
Skills:
  • A naturally strategic thinker with the ability to convey complex, analytical issues concisely and eloquently
  • Analytical and able to quickly interpret large sets of unstructured data
  • Independent, resilient and adept at prioritising workload
  • Inquisitive, engaged and keen to develop
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A highly proficient user of MS Office (especially PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Branding/design skills (e.g. InDesign, Adobe etc.) are an advantage
Experience:
  • Experience writing/designing customer-facing material or in a junior sales role is an advantage
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience dealing with senior colleagues and customer stakeholders is an advantage
The job requires a certain amount of travel internally and within the wider marketplace. Flexibility of working hours may be required on an ad-hoc basis.Language skills:English, fluent.
