• Overseeing and implementing the data privacy strategy for all entities within the group
• Communicating the operating data protection framework across the group, including assigning roles and responsibilities, training, etc.
• Reviewing and signing off Data Protection Impact Assessments and other privacy risk assessments, and agreeing on appropriate mitigating actions with product owners
• Working with the business to ensure that records of processing are kept up to date
• Working closely with global Regulatory Compliance Managers to ensure that local risk management frameworks and processes align with global ones and deliver the intended outcome
• Providing advice on the management and resolution of incidents involving personal data
• Working closely with the Group Compliance Assurance team to monitor data protection and privacy compliance across the group
• Liaising with key internal (Legal, Risk, etc.) and external (Regulators, advisors, vendors, partners, etc.) stakeholders as required

What youll need

• The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
• A strong understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
• The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
• Multitasking skills with close attention to detail
• Demonstrated sound judgement
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in compliance risk management within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
• Knowledge and experience in the regulatory requirements relating to data protection and privacy, and a willingness and passion to develop knowledge and expertise in the other areas

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, prepaid cards, or deposits
