Job Description

Legal & General are currently looking for a Business Change Manager to play a crucial role in a major Workplace Change Management project, the Future of Work programme, as part of the People Workstream.For the right candidate, we can offer you up to £750 p/d inside of IR35 (plus 18.55% Umbrella uplift) to join L&G on an initial 40-week contract. Due to the nature of the role, this will be a hybrid position, with office attendance required at least 2 days a week at the Hove and London (One Coleman Street) offices and with occasional travel also required to the office in Cardiff.You will work closely with all our L&G business divisions, (with a primary focus in our London & Hove offices), to help our people adopt and embed changes within the Future of Work programme affecting our people, workplace, and technology. Key duties will include:

  1. Implementing change management plans and ensure they are delivered on time, on budget and achieve the desired outcomes.
  2. Implementing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques to drive maximum value in the delivery of effective change management.
  3. Delivering targeted interventions to ensure groups impacted are meaningfully engaged, supported, and upskilled to adopt the change.
  4. Developing effective reporting, control procedures and delivery plans for all initiatives and report regularly to PMO and management.
  5. Defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress, ensuring lessons learned are captured.
  6. Preparing and delivering materials to ensure the effective implementation of change across the organisation.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:
  • A Change Management Qualification - PROSCI, APMG or similar, will be required for the role.
  • Change management experience with track record of using effective methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques will be essential - ideally within other Workplace Change Management projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders across various internal and external businesses and support functions will be essential.
  • An in depth understanding of corporate environments, proven through experience at other large enterprises, will be required.
  • Applicants from a trainer or similar background, would be at an advantage.
  • Candidates who are traditional Project Managers and focus on the delivery of the plan rather than the People aspect need not apply.
