Job Description

  • My client is a housing association based in West London
  • Description
  • On projects and programmes, you will:
  • Support the preparation of project brief/business case from a change perspective
  • Assess business readiness
  • Define sponsorship roadmap and responsibilities
  • Manage change governance
  • Facilitate stakeholder analysis to understand the level of engagement needed
  • Define engagement plans from preparation through to embed of programmes
  • Conduct change impact analysis to define impacts
  • Create change management strategies and plans to best target impacts
  • Identify, analyse and prepare change risk mitigation tactics
  • Assess capability gaps to be addressed and design subsequent learning options, working in close relationship with the Learning & Development team
  • Define, plan and execute change management plans to support communication and transition activities
  • Support and engage with sponsors from the outset for best practice change delivery
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Work with the project team to understand all activities and situations that may impact people or change outcomes
  • Implement appropriate change methodologies
  • Define and measure success metrics You will also contribute to the creation and improvement of change management best practices (guidelines, tools, templates) and will help to increase change management capabilities within the change team and into the organisation.
  • Profile
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams on programmes and projects in a change management role (not a project management role)
  • Experience working in HR environments and supporting HR projects
  • A solid understanding on how people go through change and the change process; ideally with an experience of the Prosci ADKAR® model and/or APMG Change Management
  • Ability to support multiple programmes, projects and tasks of varying complexities and priorities in parallel
  • Ability to work within an environment which is not always structured
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationship, engaging and building trust with stakeholders for effective people outcomes, specifically People and Culture teams (L&D, Communications, Brand and Engagement)
  • An excellent communicator, who has impactful presence and can easily simplify messaging, and incorporate storytelling
  • Resilient with a propensity to persevere, moving forward but also knowing when to be patient
  • Ability to engage in debate with an open-communication mindset
  • Good self-awareness
  • Ability to design training strategies,
  • Ability to deliver effective communications
