Job Description

The role sits within their Currency Product team, which supports a broad range of front office applications for passive and dynamic Currency Hedging strategies, portfolio management and FX dealing. This team is a highly visible, successful team of passionateindividuals with a strong collaboration and continuous improvement culture. This will provide a unique chance for the right candidate to work on bespoke/in-house front office applications and get exposure to the front office stakeholders including PortfolioManagers, Quants and traders.If you are looking to build your career as a Business Analyst working on front office applications in a high paced, high performing and rewarding environment, then please reach out for further details.Experience, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst working on technology focused projects with the Banking & Financial Services sector
  • Prior Investment Management experience is not required, but a desire to join and develop in the industry will be!
  • Strong degree /Educational background required.
  • Driven and ambitious individual who is naturally inquisitive, pro-active and accountable both in the workplace and on their own personal development.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to effectively communicate at a level and depth appropriate to the audience.
  • Ability to write great User Stories and develop effective User Story maps.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban.
  • Someone who understands the difference between Product and Project management and who is happy dealing with imperfect information.
  • Ability to apply suitable analytical approaches to problem discovery and solution delivery.
  • Experience or understanding of UX Research techniques and principles of dual-track agile.
  • A thirst for knowledge and curiosity to help solve complex problems with a keen eye for detail.
  • A sense of personal responsibility and the drive to own problems, can work self-directed and independently to accomplish results.
  • Promotes a positive team culture. Identifies and implements ways to improve teamwork. Builds effective relationships throughout the organisation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to seek out true business value and challenge wastage.
