Job Description

Business Analyst - Insurance - London Market - City, LondonIf you have Lloyds of London / London Market Insurance experience, including Lloyds market initiatives and highly experienced with specification, design, configuration and implementation of systems in the London Market Insurance industry working as a Business Analyst, then this is the role for you.Please only apply if you have recent insurance experience working in the Lloyds / London Market.The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Application Manager in defining the strategic requirements and the delivery and management of all business applications.The Business Analyst will work closely with the business to understand, capture, prioritise and document business and technical requirements leading to the deployment of automated, optimised and highly effective solutions which includes workflow solutions.Working with the rest of the Change Team the Business Analyst will effectively manage, configure, develop, test and implement all business applications. You will take ownership of, promote, develop and run the change process for both BAU and projects.The Business Analyst will have the following skills/experience:-

  • Previous experience working in the London Market / Lloyds Insurance market is essential
  • Demonstrable business analysis and project management skills and experience within the insurance sector using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience working with Workflow / Business Process Management (BPM) Solutions is highly desirable, though not essential.
  • Experience of developing and managing details systems test plans and activities
  • Vendor management skills and proven track record of working with technology suppliers and development teams
  • Experience of providing excellent application support to external customers
  • Business change experience and the ability to engage senior stakeholders to enable and champion both system and cultural change
  • Experience of business change including planning, managing and implementing change delivered by projects/programs/portfolios in the business
