As a Barclays Business Analyst - Global Markets, you will be supporting the Global Markets Chief of Staff in running managerial and administrative processes for the Global Markets business. What will you be doingAssisting the Global Markets Chief of Staff, in preparing and organising management business reviewsand other management forums, including Global Markets management meetingsRunning standard management processes for the Global Markets Chief of Staff Office & proactively flag and execute on opportunities, for improvement and optimisationProducing dataanalysis and writing reports, including draft presentations for use by the Co-Heads of Global Markets, to assist in executive governing and management forumsDrafting briefing materials for the Co-Heads of Global Markets ahead of meetings, with Board members,senior management, direct reports, infrastructure partners, regulators and clientsProducing presentations and talking points to support the Co-Heads of Global Markets in regular colleague communications, including Town Halls and all-colleague callsAnalysingbenchmarking intelligence, to assess relative performance, versus peers and opportunities for growthOwning, maintaining and continuously improving action trackers and business performance scorecardsTaking minutes in governance forum and liaising withstakeholders across the firm to track action points through to completion What were looking for:Educated to Degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a numeric or business related disciplineWork experience is required, gained within Financial Services,coupled with a working knowledge of MarketsHighly adept user of Power Point and MS Excel, including macro level, ideally VBAExcellent oral and written communication skills, including creative writing and presentation skills Skills that will help youin the role:Work experience gained within a management or strategy consulting firm, would be highly desirable.Excellent work ethic, entrepreneurial attitude. Able to effectively under pressure, handle multiple priorities, demands and time-sensitive situations Ability to extract information, set expectations to complete tasksAble to develop successful working relationships with Sales and Trading and Infrastructure partners across the firm Where will you be working In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquartersat Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
