A leading educations and publishing firm currently requires a Business Analyst to join them on a 3 month rolling contract. Based in central London however as the office is closed the role will be fully remote. This is an exciting opportunity in our expanding online learning services division. We work with world-leading universities throughout the UK to take their qualifications online, enabling them to reach global audiences in the comfort of their own homes. Each university partner is supported by their own dedicated operational business unit, across research, marketing, recruitment, course design and student success services, to support our shared goals for high quality student experiences and outcomes.We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work reporting into the operations team on our partnership with a University. The business analyst will work with the business to gather information on and help define the complete technical infrastructure required to support student acquisition activity and student retention, and to document it through collaborating with all business stakeholders. This includes gap analysis, identifying areas currently not fulfilled, areas for improvement and prioritising those needs based on business criticality and benefit.This role will lead a project in identifying, mapping and documenting all of the key systems that make up the student journey. This role will divide their time working to define these key systems and how they currently interface with each other (i.e. what is manual and what uses an integration or API). These systems will include but are not limited to: Application portal, payment system, student record system (SITs), CRM salesforce and Enterprise Data Warehouse. This role will define and document the data files currently being shared between organisations how this is validated and what authentication is required. This role will also need to take into account any data protection or privacy constraints. The role will then make recommendations for proposed integrations between systems. This role should create a System architecture a diagram showing all the systems and how they connect and Data sources, flow, quality and integrity.In this role, the person will be required to take a business-centric approach and interact with all teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly articulated and documented.The individual will also need to have a deep understanding of Salesforce addition to have experience with working with Business intelligence toolsRequirements
