Job Description

Business AnalystLocation: London with £40-80k SalaryOverviewOur Client is a digital agency and a market leader renowned for their digital projects with predominately public sector cliental. This exciting opportunity will allow you to have exposure to large transformation projects across various departments withingovernment which will have an impact on society.As a Business Analyst you will:

  • Lead a small team of junior business analysts and coach them
  • Facilitate and lead on workshops
  • Manage stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally
  • Work alongside diverse teams such as: product or delivery or UX or designers to define acceptance tests
  • Lead the client engagement for specific areas of work
  • Identify business issues and produce findings to relevant stakeholders then support the teams through implementation of solutions
  • Take ownership of one or more areas of work and regularly report to the project manager
  • Gather business requirements
  • Conduct process re-engineering or functional modelling
  • Assume responsibility for the application of changes to programme scope
The successful Business Analyst skillset will be:
  • An expert in Agile ways of working throughout the project lifecycle
  • Experience working on transformation projects with a top tier consultancy with public sector cliental or working directly with government bodies as a business analyst
  • Experienced in leading small teams on a relevant transformation project
  • A professional who has worked with a diverse set of teams and built successful lasting relationships
  • A leader for working in user-centred design approaches
  • Ability to share your expertise and knowledge to influence clients and team members on decision making
  • Experience in translating complex business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements for the end-to-end service or product, with the appropriate use of epics, features, user stories and defined acceptance.
