Here, you will be part of a team that creates and delivers powerful technical solutions for our branch locations and employees across Europe with the resources and support to develop in a variety of career paths.The European IT team is looking to hire a Business Analyst to work on a strategic project for our government and corporate customers.The European IT team is responsible for the development and ongoing ownership of software solutions supporting the European business. This includes MS Azure cloud web applications and integration solutions based on the .NET technology stack, serving internalemployees and external customers.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for working with our business users to document requests and user requirements for our online government and corporate booking tool. This position will form part of a development team, working closely with colleagues in Product Management,our customer/business partners, and Global IT to meet the needs of our business.

• Develops, interprets, reviews, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements. Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements.
• Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options that best serve business needs.
• Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents. Serves as the primary interface between the users/product management and the IT team; may be required to present formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.
• Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
• Assumes the role of Scrum Master to facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retros and sprint demos, etc.
• Participates in acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met. Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
• Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business.
• Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy.
• Possesses general knowledge of the IT environment and our industry. Assists with researching opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.
• Participates in change management activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.
• Assists team with investigation of operational and support issues arising with existing products.
• Maintains established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
• Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong experience of working in a IT Business Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of theSoftware Development Life Cycle
• Working to Agile principles in teams.
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills tailored to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
