Job Description

Pertemps Recruitment has recently partnered with a dynamic, collaborative and commercial law firm whose headquarters are in London. This organisation is looking for a Business Development Executive ( Legal) to join their London-based team.This is a Full-Time, permanent role -- paying between £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus bonus. The Company:Headquartered in London and with offices in Bristol, Hong Kong, and Singapore, they support their clients globally, both through their own offices and by collaborating with leading law firm networks. They are big enough to handle the most complex matters,and agile enough to adapt quickly to the opportunities and challenges their clients face. Through their commitment to -- and focus on -- five strategic areas of importance: Commercial & Financial Disputes, Insurance, Regulatory, Retail & Consumer, and Technology& Media; complemented by a wide variety of practice areas, their revenue increased by 23% in 2021.Your role:The successful candidate will be involved in all the operational workstreams such as External Comms, Internal Comms, Research & Subscriptions and Finance, Crisis Management etc, that drive the potential and help shape the firms most dynamic practice areas. Responsibilities include but not are limited to the following: Business Development

  • Take ownership of the ongoing regular production of key Regulatory Pillar publications and identify opportunities to evolve them to suit the needs of our Regulatory clients.
  • Support the SBDM in the implementation key Pillar campaigns.
  • Lead and project manage the successful rollout of selected campaigns.
  • Work together with the Knowledge Team produce regular competitor and client analysis and insight to inform Pillar BD development.
Proposition building and positioning
  • Work closely with the SBDM and Bid Manager to support the delivery of bids, proposals, client presentations and capability statements.
  • Create a bank of Regulatory Pillar pitch resources through compiling existing pitch content (by practice area, team and sector), identifying gaps and drafting compelling content.
  • Develop brand, marketing & sales material for new Regulatory products and services.
  • Lead the production of high-quality submissions for selected directory and award categories.
Key Account Management
  • Work together with the SBDM to create bespoke content identified for the other Pillars key target clients.
  • Work alongside the SBDM, to develop the Regulatory Pillars Key Referrer Programme and implement CRM best practice.
  • Work with the Client Relationship Management team to maintain and develop InterAction lists for target markets and key campaigns.
Key Requirements and Skills:Previous experience gained within a marketing and business development function at a professional services firm is essential to this role. Further Experience of working with Regulatory, Compliance or Dispute Resolution groups would be advantageous but not essential.Evidence of good Partner management skills, ideally gained within a professional services environmentEffective relationship builderis able to interact with individuals at all levels across the businessAble to think strategically and commercially as well as exhibit strong operational and project management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
