MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Trainee Building Services Officer to join a Housing Association working across London and the South East. This will be a permanent position paying £25,000p/a + Van & Benefits. (Remote Based)Experience in flick testing would be preferable however training will be provided for all duties below:Main Purpose of Job:To carry out and the testing, inspection, maintenance and servicing of my clients Housings fire safety systems and Building Services equipment. Key Responsibility:* To project a positive image of my clients Housing by providing an excellent level of customer service to all customers.* To carry out an effective maintenance and inspection regime of fire safety systems and Building Services equipment by undertaking a regular testing and servicing regime. The fire systems and Building Services equipment includes but not limited to fire alarm panels, fire detection, sounders, emergency lighting, portable fire extinguishers, AOVs, MOVs, emergency lift lines, portable appliance testing and other systems and equipment as required.* To record all maintenance and inspection outcomes on our asset management system Keystone through mobile devices such as a laptop or phone.* To report all equipment malfunctions, equipment not scheduled for maintenance or inspection, equipment, and components in need of repair or replacement or any issues found on site that could have an impact to health and safety.* Raise urgent orders and report repairs from site where required.* To work collaboratively with the Building Services teams to develop effective and efficient services, to deliver consistent services across my client and share best practise. * Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the business and achieving targets and objectives that are set. * To ensure relevant KPIs and Service Standards are met/exceeded.* To provide effective and timely communication to staff and residents regarding the services the post holder is responsible.* Comply with the Health & Safety Policy, ensuring own and others health and safety.Title: Building Services Testing OfficerSalary: £25,000p/a + Van & Benefits.Location: London & South East (Remote based).
