In this role you will lead and project manage different projects, costing the renewal plans for the future.Key Responsibilities as a Building Services Manager:- Managing day-to-day management of the M&E and hard services agreements ensuring KPIs are met/exceeded- Supervise the maintenance callouts and requirements by confirming M&E and hard services suppliers thorough tasks to a high standard and as per prescribed response times- Guarantee that all suppliers and their staff supply excellent customer service both internally and externally- Retain an oversight of strategic issues relating to the delivery of M&E and hard services contracts- Make recommendations for action and where suitable obtain quotations and guarantee that agreed work is carried out to appropriate standards- To review and negotiate contract cost submissions to obtain best value for money- Ensure that direct reports are trained in, and respective- Lead, manage and develop the Facilities Coordinator- Arrange objectives, delivery targets and KPI- Generate opportunities for personal development for engagement in cross team projects- Create and monitor budgets agreed in relation to areas of responsibilityKey Requirements:- Significant experience in an engineering facilities- Mechanical or electrical engineering or demonstrable extensive trade experience- Knowledge of managing an subcontracted mechanical and electrical contract- Experience of Construction Design Management Regulations- Proof of introducing or managing an asset management process- Trained and working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation- Passionate and enthusiasm- Can handle multiple deadlines- Excellent communication skillDisclaimer: Due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our roles, unfortunately we cannot respond to each application individually, therefore if you do not hear back from one of our consultants within 14 days then unfortunately you havenot been shortlisted for this role
