Building Safety Manager

Elevate are working on partnership with our client to appoint an experienced Building Safety Manager to their busy Technical team.You will :

Ensure that each higher risk building has an up-to-date safety case and that everything is in place to make applications for a Building Assessment Certificate.
Recruit a team of building safety co-ordinators to monitor and audit day to day activities within our higher risk buildings ensuring that customer safety is put first at all times.
Develop strong and effective relationships and promote building safety within the Group to ensure that all activities contribute to improved resident safety.
Oversee the management of actions arising out of the mandatory incident reporting system and the management of customer building safety related complaints in HRBs.
Act as joint contact alongside the Fire Safety Manager of Primary Authority Partner - London Fire Brigade (LFB)
Liaise with external agencies and other housing providers to keep abreast of good practice. Representing the Group with external partners, stakeholders including Local Authorities, DLUHC, Fire and Rescue Authority etc.
