Job Description

Job Title: Brand ManagerSalary: up to £50k p/aLocation: London (North West)To help us achieve our ambitious growth plans we are looking for an energetic, experienced, hands-on Brand Manager with digital and retailer-facing experience to deliver our client’s 3-year Marketing plan.The RoleYou will be responsible for developing and delivering the yearly brand plan and long-term vision of the Brand and Marketing Strategy aligned to the overarching business strategy. As we are an ambitious entrepreneurial business, you will have a good degree of autonomy and pro-activity. We are looking to grow the brand and fast - but initial budgets will be challenging; so a lot of creative flair, can-do attitude to create as much of a buzz as possible around the brand.As Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Set the UK brand plans with a short- and long-term focus.
  • Implement and optimize brand activity that supports the overarching brand strategy.
  • Deliver retailer facing presentations interwoven with the brand strategy to unlock further growth using data with compelling arguments showing category benefit.
  • To fully own and activate the digital content strategy and year calendar with the digital marketing manager (freelancer).
  • Optimise our e-commerce digital strategy.
  • Getting insight on competitors - what are they doing well / not so well
  • What new opportunities can we unlock to help us better achieve business priorities and band objectives
  • Align & deliver online activation for key e-commerce accounts.
  • Guide - set monthly agenda/tasks/briefs, monitor a team of 6-8 freelancers (designer, artworkers, digital E-commerce Agency)
  • Set up communication plans for PR, Social Media and sponsorship activity.
  • Co-ordinate events plan, (post Covid-19), which includes consumer’s and show a keen willingness to attend shows and interact with customers.
  • Develop execution of NPD’s marketing materials.
  • Assist with the development of packaging materials.
  • Brand guardian for UK and international markets, ensuring brand consistency is maintained across packaging and marketing communications.
  • Assist with creating monthly / quarterly marketing reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Competitor monitoring.
  • Briefing in and direct creation of trade advertising.
  • This is a new role and we are looking for someone, ideally from an SME food and drink background, with strong brand, category, digital and marketing strategic skills to own this area of the business.
  • Person Specification
  • You will also need to be data savvy.
  • Provide strong arguments for retailers to list product from a category perspective and strong selling presentations for the trade.
  • Strong Brand digital-orientated experience, with sound knowledge of planning digital BTL activation, Webshop, Influencers, (Digital) Sampling and SEO/PPC.
  • You will be multi-skilled and probably quite unique in being able to do all of this!
