Job Description

JOB TITLE: Part-time Bookkeeper & AccountsCOMPANY: Property and ConstructionCONTRACT: Permanent - Part-timeHOURS: 25-28 hours per weekSTART: March 2022SALARY: £30,000-£35,000 (full-time equivalent)LOCATION: Old StreetCULTURE: A small but dedicated and supportive team, within a friendly and lively officePERKS: Social and diverse team, mental health and wellbeing focused with green office and free yoga and Pilates sessions!At Oa Liverpool Street we have partnered with a Property and Construction Project Management firm to recruit for a Bookkeeper. They are a team of independent creative project managers who manage the lifecycle of projects of varied complexities, across allstages and throughout many sectors. They are a passionate and tenacious team who employ people that add to the culture, ethos and expertise. They are looking for a candidate who can fully immerse themselves in learning and understanding the brand in orderto elevate the companys presence.DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Oversee the finance function and be familiar with day-to-day process
  • Understand current and future risks and opportunities and propose solutions to mitigate or avoid risks
  • Produce monthly accounting reports
  • Bank Postings & Reconciliations
  • Monthly review cashflow position and align with Bank Balance Forecast (BBF)
  • Oversea the bank account on the day-to-day basis and maintain the cashflow record
  • Issue & Post Payroll & Partners drawings Journals
  • Billings Variance Report issued to Finance Partners
  • Produce debtor days report
  • Credit control including preparation & Issue of client statement
  • Expenses management and reimbursement
  • Payment proposal preparation and management of all payments
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in the use of Sage 200
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent
