Halliday Marx have partnered with the most marvelous practice to hire a Bookkeeper on a permanent basis.Full study support provided.Responsibilities;

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients using Sage 50 & Quickbooks Online software and manual systems where necessary.
Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures including reconciliation of ledger accounts.
Produce financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns.
Preparing and submitting HMRC related returns including monthly PAYE/NI and quarterly VAT returns.
Processing client payrolls including addressing general payroll queries, pension submissions and related matters.
Providing administrative support and performing any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Serving as the key contact between the company and clients, effectively addressing client queries, ensuring timely communication and building strong relationships.

Requirements;

Proven experience as a bookkeeper with excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping
Strong experience with both Quickbooks and Sage 50
Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified and looking to embark on the ACCA
French speaker would be a huge advantage but isnt a must.
