Bookkeeper £30,000 paEast London We are hiring for a small yet hugely growing wholesale business in East London. They are seeking a full time Bookkeeper to join the business, this will be office based.The role will essentially keep track / distribution of outstanding invoices/receipts, payroll, costs, expenses, accounts, transactions, pay slips, send VAT updates to accountant, financial planning etc.Job Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks accounting software- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.-Posting and allocating payments/receipts as per daily bank statements.Person Spec:Enthusiasm to learn and support improvements to the current systems - essentialMicrosoft Excel skillsSolid communication skills, both written and verbal - essentialStrong attention to detail and organizational skills - essentialProven experience in a Finance team " with credit control background. - preferredAbility to adopt a flexible approach to working in a rapidly growing business - preferredA high level of organisation and planning skills - essentialProfessional and friendly attitude to customers and colleagues - essentialTechnical Skills:Demonstrated knowledge of Credit control processes and technologiesAbility to interpret business and customer needs and respond accordinglyWorking knowledge of financial tools, services and techniques to support effectivecredit control.Results drivenOpen minded (listen, share ideas etc.) and able to bring added valueAbility to handle conflicts / problem resolution etc.Agility, able to adapt / respond to a constantly changing and demanding environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail.Analytical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent team-player with experience working under pressure to achieve set targetsand meet deadlines.
