Westminster Kingsway College are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge to teach Biology and Chemistry on the Level 2 & L3 BTEC Applied Science study programmes for 16-19-year-olds at Westminster Kingsway, Kings CrossCentre.About the role:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the Pearsons Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science, Biology and Chemistry units such as Physiology of the Human Body System, Scientific skills, and Investigative project.Applied Science is a popular subject amongst our learners, and we wish to appoint an exceptional and reflective practitioner, who can build on the existing strengths of our learners to continue the success of our biology and chemistry offering.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the curriculum manager in implementing the departments improvement plan, whilst delivering first class, quality, and creative lessons in line with the departmental teaching and learning policy.About you:You will hold an Honours Degree in a Science subject, have relevant experience teaching Biology to 16-19-year-olds up to level 3. You will also hold a recognised teaching qualification and have teaching experience within the past 5 years. You will be usedto maintaining professional and quality standards and keeping high quality documentation.About Westminster Kingsway College:Westminster Kingsway College is a further education college in central London with centres in Camden and Westminster. It offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses for 16-18 year olds and adult learners, such as A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships,Foundation Degrees, Access to Higher Education, employability training and short courses.
