Bid Manager - Offshore Wind FabricationExciting opportunity for a high profile global engineering company with offices in UK, EU & China.Requires Structural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degree. Plus Bid Management /Commercial Background in Offshore Wind Fabrication - for tenders, bids & delivery of projects.Company Well-established and respected company with large scale Projects for major clients. Our client has expanded into Project Management for Offshore Wind Fabrication.With long term contracts to design & sign off on fabrication of offshore wind foundations (mix of jackets, monopiles & floating)We are currently fulfilling the role on behalf of the client.RoleResponsibility for Bids, Tender and Business Development for major offshore wind fabrication projects in Europe.Mix of bid/ tender/ estimate / project management for Fabrication of Offshore Wind Foundations.- Responsible for leading and managing prequalifications and tenders, building relationships with clients, and delivering successful bids.- understand project owner requirements.- Lead technical meetings for clarifications and deviations.The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work in cross-cultural teams, and strong decision-making abilities.Essential RequirementsStructural / Mechanical/ Civil Engineering degreeBid management experienceBackground in Offshore Wind engineering with commercial knowledgeExperience in offshore wind- at either a contractor, consultancy or client.experience with offshore wind steel fabricatorsIdeally jacket foundation fabrication.Knowledge of codes eg welding, coating, and quality.Advantage: Experience in commercial aspects of offshore wind (design, fabrication, installation) - ideally Jackets.Professional qualifications/ membership/ chartered an advantage.- knowledge of welding, coating, and quality control requirements for jacket foundations in the offshore wind industry.Hybrid/ wfh Location: any of EU or UK Engineering degree and experience of Offshore Wind Fabrication is essential for this role.please call us or email us for more info at clarehillassociates .com
